Assistive Technology (AT)

Assistive technology refers to any tool, device, equipment, or system used to maintain or enhance the functional abilities of people with disabilities.

Assistive Technology includes a pencil grip, keyboard, switch, trackball, pointing device, eye-gaze and head tracker, mounting system, positioning system, wheelchair, refreshable braille display, hearing aids, magnifier, speech recognition software, and screen reader.
