Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS)

Come join students from over 350 United States colleges and universities and approximately 600 graduate program representatives in the fifteenth professional four-day conference created to encourage members belonging to underrepresented populations to pursue advanced STEM training. More than 1,700 students from twelve disciplines in the biomedical and behavioral sciences deliver oral and poster presentations. Previous speakers at the conference include Maya Angelou, Francis Collins, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. This conference is sponsored by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), Division of Training, Workforce Development, and Diversity (TWD) under award number T36GM073777 and managed by the American Society for Microbiology (ASM).
