NWIC - CopyNWIC is a tribally controlled college chartered by the Lummi Nation, and serves more than 100 tribes and First Nations.  Our work is grounded in place, and supports the wider goals of self-determination for the individuals and communities that we serve. Our college mission is “Through education, Northwest Indian College promotes indigenous self-determination and knowledge.”  The main campus is located at Lummi Nation near Bellingham, Washington, with extended campuses located on five reservations in Washington (Swinomish, Muckleshoot, Port Gamble S’Klallam, Nisqually, and Tulalip) and one in Idaho (Nez Perce).  NWIC offers four distinct baccalaureate programs, a Bachelor of Science in Native Environmental Science, a Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Native Studies Leadership, Tribal Governance and Business Management, and Community Advocates for Responsive Education in Human Services.

SalishSalish Kootenai College is a 4-year degree granting tribal college on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana, and is the only tribal college to offer bachelor’s degrees in several STEM fields. In its 35 years of existence, the mission of Salish Kootenai College has been to provide quality postsecondary educational opportunities for Native Americans locally and from throughout the United States.
