WSU Pullman

Our oldest and largest campus, WSU Pullman offers a classic college-town experience with more than 200 undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, NCAA Division I sports, leading research programs, and state-of-the-art facilities.

  • Students: 17,050 (Fall 2023)
  • Location: 75 miles south of Spokane, among the rolling hills of southeastern Washington known as the Palouse.
  • Tone: a classic college-town experience.

WSU Spokane

Home to the health sciences, WSU Spokane focuses on preparing the state’s future generations of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health professionals. Located in downtown Spokane, the 48-acre campus also offers graduate programs in education and credential programs for K-12 educators.

  • Students: 1,281 (Fall 2023)
  • Location: downtown Spokane, Washington’s second-largest city, just across the Spokane River from Gonzaga University.
  • Tone: home to the health sciences.

WSU Tri-Cities

WSU Tri-Cities delivers career-connected learning and innovative research that addresses economic and social challenges with an emphasis on energy, the environment, and agriculture. The campus is home to the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center and the Bioproducts, Sciences, and Engineering Laboratory.

  • Students: 1,441 (Fall 2023)
  • Location: 200 acres along the banks of the Columbia River in Richland, Washington.
  • Tone: career-connected learning.

WSU Vancouver

WSU Vancouver is the only four-year research university in southwest Washington and offers 35 affordable, high-quality undergraduate and graduate degree programs, accessible faculty, and hands-on research opportunities.

Located about 30 miles north of Seattle, WSU Everett offers junior- and senior-level courses in high-demand bachelor’s degree programs designed to prepare students to compete globally, including data analytics, engineering, hospitality business management, and integrated strategic communication.

WSU Global Campus serves more than 4,000 students worldwide through 100% online, 100% WSU undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs, as well as a range of non-credit continuing education programs.

Summer research opportunities

Students can spend the summer on the WSU Pullman campus conducting research in a wide variety of fields alongside award-winning professors. The summer concludes with a symposium showcasing student efforts.

Common Reading program

Each year, the university chooses a single book to be read by all first-year students, which creates a common academic ground and dialogue as students begin their WSU experience. Related programming helps students realize the scope and innovative quality of the university’s world-class research.

Honors College

One of the oldest honors programs in the country, the WSU Pullman Honors College curriculum offers an integrated and flexible curriculum that emphasizes preparation and understanding of research within all fields, development of transferable skills, and global awareness. The curriculum satisfies general education requirements, so it works well with all areas of study.
