He has served as editor of the editorial page for the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seattle_Post-Intelligencer\"><u>Seattle Post-Intelligencer<\/u><\/a><\/em>,. and is a former columnist at\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Seattle_Times\"><u>The Seattle Times<\/u><\/a><\/em>\u00a0and has been publisher of the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Moscow-Pullman_Daily_News\"><u>Moscow-Pullman Daily News<\/u><\/a><\/em>\u00a0in Moscow, Idaho; executive news editor of\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Salt_Lake_Tribune\"><u>The Salt Lake Tribune<\/u><\/a><\/em>; a reporter at the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arizona_Republic\"><u>Arizona Republic<\/u><\/a><\/em>\u00a0in Phoenix; and has worked at several tribal newspapers.\u00a0Trahant reports and comments on events and trends on his blog at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/trahantreports.com\/\"><u>TrahantReports.Com<\/u><\/a>\u00a0and on\u00a0and other social media.
