SUMMARY:Workshop 2: Recruitment activities and specific sources of funding for Native American graduate students.
DESCRIPTION:This is the second in the series of three workshops devoted to recruiting and mentoring Native American graduate students and conducting responsible\, collaborative research with Native American communities. These workshops are organized by the Plateau Center for Native American Research & Collaboration and The WSU Graduate School\, with support from the PNW-COSMOS Alliance (funded in part by NSF AGEP-T grant #1432910). Each workshop will be offered twice\, on consecutive days\, in order to maximize the number of people able to attend. Refreshments will be provided. \nIn the second workshop\, we will present detailed information about recruitment activities and specific sources of funding for Native American graduate students. \nThis workshop will be offered on May 2 (4:00-6:00) and 3 (4:00-6:00)\, in the Plateau Center (ground floor of Cleveland Hall). \n
