DESCRIPTION:The Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) is pleased to be convening the Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) National Forum. The AGEP Forum (funded by the National Science Foundation through a grant to CGS) has the following goals: \n\nTo serve as a forum for exploring promising practices with the potential to significantly improve the diversity of STEM graduate students and the professoriate\nTo develop a network for sharing and fostering community among AGEP grantees\, and\nTo provide a platform for NSF to engage AGEP grantees by sharing its strategic priorities\, policies\, and procedures designed to facilitate STEM doctoral programs inclusiveness.\n\nSweeney Windchief (Assistant Professor of Education and MSU) will be delivering the opening plenary.
