WSU’s Incident Response Team and Cougar Health Services is taking inventory of the university’s strategic stockpiles to make sure there’s enough personal protective equipment (PPE) and other critically important materials needed for the systemwide response to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
As part of the effort, and by direction of WSU’s Incident Command System, all departments that have any of the items listed below must report existing inventory levels to the Office of Purchasing by March 31. Much of the equipment is important for protecting WSU employees in various roles crucial to health and wellness as well as to the university’s continued operations.
Please use the embedded form below to report your PPE inventory. Record quantities at the “each” level. For example, two 24-unit cases of N-95 masks (small) would be recorded as 48 units. The “submit” button at the bottom will automatically send the information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Organizers recognize that some departments may only have a small subset of what is needed, but by accounting for every item the university is able to make sure inventory is getting into the hands of those who must rely on it to do their jobs.
Additionally, the university is asking that colleges and programs identify and report any medically usable facilities or equipment that could be used to care for the WSU community. Questions and information about suitable facilities, such as location and square footage, should be directed to Facility Information Resource Management Director Don Hulst, email@example.com; 509-335-2512.
